"BEST SALTWATER FLY FISHING I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!"
Saltwater Fly Fishing
“In 19 years of producing fishing shows throughout Canada,
this is absolutely the best saltwater fly fishing I have EVER experienced!
Legacy offers some of the best access you will ever find.”
–MARK PENDLINGTON, HOST OF WEST COAST SPORTING JOURNAL
Legacy Lodge offers exceptional Saltwater fly fishing for Pacific salmon on the calm, protected waters of Rivers Inlet. The dense populations of Coho and Chinook in the waters surrounding Legacy Lodge are aggressive, and will take your fly….. and 200 feet of backing off your reel!
Guests of all abilities can enjoy fighting large Northern Coho on our 8 wt. Sage fly rods and reels, all equipped with the best of lines and the most productive flies. Salmon can be taken on the cast fly or by buck tailing along the shorelines of Rivers Inlet.
THE LEGACY EXPERIENCE ON WFN
The Legacy Experience is a World Fishing Network (WFN) T.V. series that chronicles saltwater fly fishing expeditions from Legacy Lodge into British Columbia’s Rivers Inlet and the remote Great Bear Rainforest in search of chrome bright silver salmon on the fly. The series motivates, entertains and educates anglers to try this magnificent sport while providing a reverence to the salmon species in this pristine environment that makes you want to be right there experiencing the thrill and chase of open saltwater fly fishing for salmon in one of the top locations in the world.
For the fly fishing enthusiast, Legacy Lodge offers and endless array of shoreline and diverse habitat to cast both sinking and floating lines.
All guests can enjoy the revised art of buck tailing. This is a highly productive, exciting way to catch salmon on light fly gear, without the sometimes difficult casting techniques. Buck tailing is also a way for the more experienced angler to “cover more ground” while searching for the perfect location.
